Today's manicure is different as you can see there is no accent nail *shocking* lol. I attempted to do gray with a silver french tip. I have a shaky hand so attempting to create a french tip was a challenge for me. I think I did good job for my first try, what do you guys think? I used Pelican Gray from China Glaze as the base. Then I used Silver Glitter by the brand KISS Brush On Nail Art for the french tip.

I'm totally over this New York winter weather! I'm ready for the Spring season already and can't wait to be able to wear cute clothing. I'm tired of the bulky layers and heavy coats. Here are some Spring looks from Sheinside.com that I look forward to wearing SOON when the weather gets nice.
During the transition of weather I would wear these pastel loose fit sweaters. On casual days these sweaters are light enough to wear WITHOUT a jacket but still look put together and trendy.
Chiffon shirts never go out of style. Trends I noticed that will be big during the Spring/Summer seasons are contrast color, cut outs, ombre/tiedye, and chambray tops. I see a lot of two toned tops in stores right now. Also I see cut outs on the shoulder area or the back are very popular and give your top something unexpected. Ombre was very big last summer on hair but it's coming back in clothing from tops to jeans and shorts. I'm loving this particular chambray top because it's not all over but just enough.
I'm definitely a dress kind of girl so dresses are a must gave in my wardrobe. Black and white is a huge trend that will be seen in the Spring. The dress will be very flattering on since the black is on the outside of the dress, which can create a slimmer appearance. You can also add a colorful belt to add a pop of color. The white dress is very bohemian which will go with anything and transition well into Summer. Lace and floral dresses never go out of style so you can never go wrong with either of them.
I was inspired to create an Exotic Arab makeup tutorial after looking at a Bollywood movie. I was always intrigued on the application and colors that Bollywood actresses had on their eyes. I will definitely will be doing more tutorials like this in the near future. I hope you enjoy the look and leave you're commens/feedback down below!!!
Valentine's Day is here and of course I went with a pink and red manicure for the occasion. I liked how this came out instead of my regular one accent nail. I received many compliments when I was out and about so I had to make a blog post! I used China Glaze- Long Kiss on every other nail as a base before adding the red glitter. The glitter is from BornPrettyStore and just topped it off with a clear coat. For the pretty pink nail polish I used Milani High Speed Fast Dry nail polish in the color Fast Fuchsia.

This is a continuation from a precious post (Click Here) but this time I will be swatching the pink and coral lipsticks. I'm honestly blown away with the formula and pigmentation of this line. I love a pink/coral lip so this was so much fun to play around with. The colors are just so beautiful, which are perfect for the Spring and Summer time. The only lipstick I wasn't a fan of was Pink Frost but I will find a use for it. Other than that I recommend this line to anyone, no complaints here! If you want to read my full review on the color statement lipsticks & lip-liners (Click Here) Milani cosmetics are sold at CVS, Target, Walgreens, Walmart, and Kmart.
I'm finally reviewing these wonderful NEW Milani lipsticks. I've been playing around with them for a couple of weeks now, on myself and using them on others. This collection is called Color Statement (True Instant Color) and as you can tell these are in the red and orange shade selection. In this collection there is seven lipsticks and two lip liners.
These lipsticks claim to:
Have full coverage application in one stroke
Lightweight, creamy formula
Contains vitamins A,C, & E to moisturize lips
The lip liners claim to:
Long-wearing
Easy glide formula to line and fill
I do have to say I'm very impressed with the quality of these lipsticks. Not only do they have impeccable pigmentation but the long lasting wear sold me completely. I find that these lipsticks do moisturize the lips very well especially in this cold winter weather here in New York. The lip liners are so creamy and just glide like butter on the lips and also add to the long wear. The different hues in the red selections have slight differences and work well on a lot of skin tones. The two oranges are a fun pop of color that would look great for the Spring and Summer beauty trends. I definitely recommend trying this line out if you're a lipstick lover like I am, you will not be disappointed. I also love the makeup case that came with this package... HOW CUTE! You can't beat how affordable these lipsticks are and available at CVS, Tatget, Walgreens, Walmart, and KMART. Here are swatches of the lipsticks that are in this collection.
*Ruby Valentine Lipstick and True Red lip liner are missing in the swatches because I used it on my bff for her birthday and left it at her house*
