Today's shout out goes to ShopTrokm on Etsy! I'm loving their unique phone cases that have a cool twist. Not only do the offer different and fun phone cases, it's also a wallet. These cases are perfect to take for a night out, bars, clubs, and parties. The array of designs are fantastic and will satisfy anyone's style. They also offer these wallet/cases for many types of phones. The quality is great and very durable. The blue case is for my iPhone 5 and the black one will be for my cousin who has the Samsung S4. The store is located in California so shipping will depend on where you live. Everything on the website is very affordable. The customer service was amazing and very cooperative. Sonia Kashuk Self Tanning Towelettes REVIEW!

Memorial Day Weekend is nearby and I wanted to get some color before joining any festivities! I have seen these tanning towelettes in Target for over a year now. I've never tried tanning towelettes before and haven't seen many reviews using this particular brand. I decided to try them out and see if it actually delivers. Sonia Kashuk Self Tanning Towelettes retail for $9.99 without tax. The box includes 4 towelettes and meant for the face and body.

What it says on the box:

• A quick and simple way to get an even, sunless glow for fair to medium skin tones within hours
• Easy to apply and dries in seconds
• Exfoiliates skin for even and consistent tanning
• Individually sealed, perfect for use on the go
• One application lasts up to 7 days

What it claims:

 "Each Sonia Kashuk golden tanning towelettes is concentrated with a self tanning formula to give you a quick even application with no streaking, mess or fuss. Golden tanning towelettes will produce a uniform, natural-looking glow within 2 to 4 hours. For a deep tan, apply another tanning towelette after 4 hours. To maintain your tan, reapply as needed, or 2 to 3 times per week. For a darker result, apply more frequently. Light citrus fragrance, Results may vary."

Directions:

Unfold towelette and apply to dry, clean skin in circular motion. Wash hands immediately.

My experience:

I exfoliated my skin prior to using these wipes and followed the directions. One wipe WILL NOT cover your entire body. I had to use two wipes for a full application. One wipe for the bottom half of the body and the other for the upper half. I noticed the towelette dries extremely fast. Since the towelette is clear you can't really tell the area you went over or did not go over. Which can lead to not having a smooth application. The color did develop within hours and looked very natural. I'm very pale with sensitive skin and it gave a slight natural tan. I did have blotchy-ness in some areas due to not knowing if you went over the area well. I tried to go over the area with a third towelette the next day and that seem to blend everything in. I almost forgot to mention that YOU'RE PALMS WILL TURN ORANGE! I suggest you wear gloves when applying this all over your body. The color seemed to last the seven days. Would I repurchase this again? Maybe. If I already have a tan and want to get a little bit darker, I would repurchase. If you're really fair and pale I wouldn't suggest it for the price and the fact you only get 4 towelettes. I'm going to try other brands of tanning towlettes and do a comparison post in the near future.

Nail Polish of the Day

 

Today's manicure screams Spring with the floral detailing. I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri nail polish in Lively Lilac on every other finger. Then I applied White on White by China Glaze on two fingers. I found these floral nail stickers in my beauty draw. I don't have any idea where they came from but I'm pretty sure you can find similar nail sticker on eBay or amazon! I love how this manicure came out and received many compliments on it as well.

(Excuse the appearance of the nail bottles, it exploded in one of my bags. Don't you hate when that happens?)

I'm back with another review on a great eyelash online store! I found FalseEyelashesStore.com randomly and I'm glad I did. This website is great for makeup lovers who enjoy putting on some fake eyelashes. The website has a great selection to choose from and is very affordable. You cannot beat the incredible quality you receive with these lashes. I chose to get two sets of different style lashes to try out. I've used one pair 5 times already and it's still in fantastic condition! I without a doubt recommend this website to any makeup artist, makeup enthusiast, and anyone who loves good quality lashes.

 

This style has to be my favorite out of the two styles chosen. I'm such a fan of the invisible band on these lashes. You can apply these with or without having to put on liner which is a great option to have. I used these lashes on a makeup tutorial I will be putting on YouTube soon. I had such an AMAZING time at IMATS NYC 2013! If you don't know what IMATS means let me breakdown for you. IMATS stands for International Makeup Artist Trade Show and it's a huge convention that travels all over the world. From Los Angeles, New York, London,Vancouver, Sydney, and Toronto, IMATS is the place to be for makeup lovers! Many brands and companies showcase their products and also providing great discounts to whoever attends. This is actually my second year going and just love it every time. This year I went with a fellow youtuber www.youtube.com/glamgabxo and we had a blast. We had a plan to get there early so we can get our shopping done before the crazy lines start. Nail Polish of the Day

The first day of Spring is in a couple of days so why not jump start with a fresh pastel nail color! I'm so excited for the Spring weather but I know for us New Yorkers the Spring weather is usually bi polar. According to the weather forecast we will be expecting some snow next week. Anyways I chose this gorgeous milky yellow nail polish from China Glaze called Lemon Fizz. This week is just a simple manicure with no accents or nail art just clean and fresh.

MTV Washington Heights Cast at The Stand NYC

I just came from an event at The Stand in NYC where the whole cast of MTV's Washington Heights was there celebrating the final episode of the series. My best friend and I are obsessed with show, we never miss an episode! We were excited to hear that the cast was going to be there and was able to watch the final episode with them. It was held in a great place located in NYC and they had the showing downstairs which got pretty packed with people quickly. My bff and I were lucky we got a table near the screen and we realized we sat next to Reyna's family. We saw the cast members sitting and mingling with people on the opposite side of the room. We all saw the episode and right after everyone had to clear the room so they can move the tables. We all were upstairs waiting at the bar and we bumped into some of the members and took photos with them. After a few minutes we headed back downstairs to see the performances. I was excited to hear the songs that were always stuck in my head from Reyna and Audubon. I vlogged the performances so if you want to check it out click the video below!
