MTV Washington Heights Cast at The Stand NYC

I just came from an event at The Stand in NYC where the whole cast of MTV's Washington Heights was there celebrating the final episode of the series. My best friend and I are obsessed with show, we never miss an episode! We were excited to hear that the cast was going to be there and was able to watch the final episode with them. It was held in a great place located in NYC and they had the showing downstairs which got pretty packed with people quickly. My bff and I were lucky we got a table near the screen and we realized we sat next to Reyna's family. We saw the cast members sitting and mingling with people on the opposite side of the room. We all saw the episode and right after everyone had to clear the room so they can move the tables. We all were upstairs waiting at the bar and we bumped into some of the members and took photos with them. After a few minutes we headed back downstairs to see the performances. I was excited to hear the songs that were always stuck in my head from Reyna and Audubon. I vlogged the performances so if you want to check it out click the video below!

A day in the City...

The day after Christmas I went to the city to do some errands with my boyfriend. Not watching the weather channel, I didn't realize how cold it was going to be that day. Recently the weather has been very unpredictable. My boyfriend and I were done with our errands and made a stop on 5th avenue to do some shopping. We decided to stop by Rockefeller Center to see the tree. On the way there it started to snow and of course I had on flats (I WAS FREEZING) we took some photos and had lunch nearby. It was way to cold to be walking around like we usually do so we headed back home. If you're not from NYC you would know that the snow turns into slush the majority of the time. So when we got off the subway to our destination we noticed that the snow was sticking and already an inch on the ground. We had to walk to the car which was 3 LONG blocks down and of course in flats it was NOT fun. The snow storm got really bad that it was just horrible to drive on the highway. NOTE TO SELF AND EVERYONE: Check the weather channel before you leave the house lol.
